Title: can you use a headset?

can u use a cellphone headset as a mic or do u actually have to have a mic:confused:

If it fits in the jack on the sound card, it'll probably work. :D

Doubt it would work.  Cell phone headsets only have one plug sharing both mic and speaker.

I have a Playstaion USB headset that I used to use.  It works fine with XP.  I don't use it anymore because I got a nice surround sound system and the headset only had one ear piece making it mono.  What I would like to do is use my headset just for vox and use the surround system for all other game sounds.  No one can tell me how to do it though...
