Got that about a month ago on a Flight Heathrow-Brussels. We were struck by lightning, a very loud BANG , a flash of white light, a lot of poeple screaming... and a little static electricity...

Had to smash my bottle of Wisky on the woman sitting next to me... she screamed untill landing....

We were struck by lighting on final into San Francisco.  Had the exact opposite experience as Saintaw... not a single person said a word until we landed.  No screaming.. on talking.. not a single noise.
