Title: Allied Planes attacking Allied Bases?
Post by: Chesty McGee on November 13, 2005, 10:36:18 AM
In single player mode, you can fly any plane no matter what side your on.  One day I decided to change that, so I made it so that Bishops could only fly allied planes and the Knights can only fly Axis planes (I just ignore the Rooks).  It all goes well, but I can't work out how I'm supposed to change the enemy aircraft flying above bases.  They're always a B-24, a Mustang, a Lighting and a Foke Wulf! How do I change this!? Help please... :cry

Those are just drones Chesty. They are meant for nothing more than to practice shooting down. They are not attacking, just flying a pattern for you to shoot at.

Well yeah, I know there not attacking :lol I just thought it would be cool if they weren't always B-24s and all those other planes I mentioned.  It just feels wrong shooting down a P-38 in a Mustang! ;)

If you decide to jump online and play against others you'll find other than certain areas, everyone can fly what they like. In the Main aena, theres 3 seperate countries. These are not based on histrical countries, just chess peices. So it's not uncommon to see a P51 from each country fighting it out. I think the offline planes are there to give you a feel for different target sizes.
