The red spinner seems to be a little "neon".. or "bright".. or whatever the word is for it. However, the rest of the aircraft is amazing quality.

 Good work!

I think that's the specular levels screwing with the spinner. The color looks okay but the gloss is too high, methinks.

Its a beauty!    My only suggestion is that I think the drab green should be more brownish in hue - I know Gentile mentioned the brown-color of the drab in his logbook, and take a look at this photo:

you can't trust old color photos. Can't trust them one bit. They can (and do) give a general hint at the color, but the photo-sensitive chemicals of the day were much more primitive than the modern Kodak Advantix. the colors bled, faded, didn't register properly, etc. Many WW2 photos are "touched up" when scanned, so that they look one way or another, and this further changes the actual appearance of the colors involved.

While color photos HELP, do not trust them as God's word.

Agreed.   Here is a link to Gentile's logbook, though - it mentions a couple of times about the brownish hue olive drab, which seems to correspond to the hue in the colour image...

Come up with an RGB for it, I'll happily modify.

You could try x795C0C, but it might look too brown.   I got that value from a profile image of Miss Dallas, a 4th FG 51B I'd done for the old P-15B model.   IIRC, I had a combination of layers of green and browns and just played with the opacity till I got a satisfactory look.    Even threw in some faded out pattern overlays for variation and texture.   x5A522D, x5C5529 are a couple more values I'm getting off the jpg - but it really depends on the lighting.

Honestly it looks great as is, Kev - you might want to wait to see if Guppy or someone else concurs with my thoughts on the brown drab before you go to a lot of work changing it.

I'll try to find my old 4th FG skin .psd file for a definintive RGB value.

EDIT: Can't find the original .psd files, but the sampling .bmp file off my skin submission yields the value x645C34.   I think that's as close as I can get.

Whatever you decide, its a great looking skin.
