Title: Can't get in, 11/18/05 6:30 CST

Don't know what's happenin, but every time I try to login to the CT, I get the italy_1 map in a download.  Soon as the D/L is finished, I get sent back to the AH Main login board.  downloaded the dang thing 3 times so far !!!! :confused: :mad:


Do I need to delete the map from my terrain folder to get a new copy or something ??  :huh :(

is prob  the thing to do. I and a few others had this happen awhile back when trying to attend an SEA event.  The only way I was able to get around it was having someoe on the messageboards ( think it was SkyChimp ) send me the RES file for the terrain it kept trying to load from the autoupdater.  I had to get the file from someone who had a valid copy and was able to log into the game/arena with no problems

Even if I deleted the current downloaded file and logged back in to get a fresh download it would continue to do the same thing you are describing here.

Really wish I could get in, sounds like a nice set-up, but no joy again this week, same prob as before.

  Oh well, another week in the MA.:cry

Got the same problem.  :cry

Deleteing the map from the Terrain Files didn't work for me.

same here, deleted italy_1, let the auto-up-dater d/l it again, deleted it, d/l'd it from the terrain page at HTC, no joy so far.

Title: correction, problem finally resolved

1. delete the italy_1.res file from the htc/ah2/terrains folder

2. download the AHITALY_1.exe file from HTC's terrain download page

3. run the exe file to install the terrain

4. log into the CT and enjoy:D

It worked for me just going and downloading from the terrain page. I didnt  have to delete the old one just copied over it.
