Good idea to  put a DESCRIPTION of your thread in the title.  You'll get many more helpful replies that way. :aok

F16 fighter stick over the lesser models.

Pro throttle and recommend you use the hat on that for your views.  Can pretty much leave it like it is just adjust.  Seems more intuitive.  And you avoid that very long, for me anyways, reach to the view hat on the f16.

I prefer the older pedals and hear some have had a problem with the new USB pro pedals.  Seems the wire comes off the track sometimes during shipping?  Not sure but think CH was working on a fix.

Old pedals just rock with now swing.  New pedals swing for rudder AND rock for brakes.

Note the older pedals are analog only and when I switch to XP gonna have to figure something out or buy the newer pro pedals. :(

BTW CH has IMHO the very best warrenty and customer service period!

The model pedals I have are analog with NO toe breaks.  They are the rocking type with no swing or swivel to them.  Rock the left pedal forward and you get left pedal etc.........

I run the CH F-16 Fighterstick and Pro Throttle USB and the analog CH pedals using a gameport -> USB adapter and have for years.  There are several gameport to USB adapters out there but I have the RadioShak  one.

All the Best...

Checked and of curse Radio Shack is out of stock!!! LOL

Soo what I did was install the CH utitlity for gameport on XP and tried it.  Didn't work :(

Soo I installed my old F16 analog connected to the peds with peds to port and WORKS :)

BTW how do you calibrate the peds with the gameport to usb adpater on?

What does XP see when you connect it up that way.

Saw something ahout plugging in the adapter 1st then as windows finds it plug in the peds?

Kinda still tuning as the dang thing now has 2 0r 3 extra keys add due to the switch mods keys.
