Title: Zbuffer problem

Hello,
I am running an Averatec 6240 laptop with 1gb ram with a SiS M760 video card.  I try to run Aces High2 and I get a zbuffer biasing incapatability notice on startup.  When I get into the game the graphics are EXTREMELY slow. Is there any plan to help fix this?  I can run other on line games such as Everquest and Star Wars Galaxies with no problems.  Some programs I can run 2 instances of the program with only minimal lag.  I was really looking forward to playing this game.

The video card in that laptop is probably not good enough for AH.

Ya, I seem to have read sometime that skuzzy said the SiS cards arent supported by AH.

That is extremely aggrivating.  I run programs such as Everquest, and Star Wars Galaxies online with zero problems.  I am even able to run multiple instances with my laptop at the same time.  I guess this will just mean no AH.   Oh well, it was a nice looking game from what I had seen.

You can buy a desktop computer for $500 that will run AH2 fine.

If the laptop runs "other games" fine, then it may be a driver problem.  Find and install the latest drivers, make sure you have the latest version of microsoft directx, and hope for the best.

If your drivers are already up to date, then you're probably out of luck.  HTC lists a set of supported vid cards and since they're still a relatively small operation, they're not likely to expand the list of supported video cards without some sort of incentive.  I don't even know if sending them a sample system would help, but most people who could afford to give HTC an unsupported system to verify could probably more easily afford to just buy a supported system...
