Title: Help me Skuzzy Won Kenobi, You’re my only hope!

I haven’t played or downloaded AH in over two months.  I tried to log on and got a message indicating that I might need to shut down my firewall, etc.  I trouble shot the heck out of it and shut down as much stuff as I could, but could never establish a connection.  I use FS Auto Start, and shut down a few more things manually.  Here’s what I have running, but still cannot connect:

Download the full game.  U might have missed the server change and therfore your version game doesn't have the new IP addresses for the server.  It will not auto update if u have the old version.

how did you take a picture of your task manager... i would like some assistance on what crap i can shut off so my game will run better...

to take a screenie just press the 'print' key on your keyboard. This takes a screenshot of your current monitor display. Then open a picture editing program (paint or photoshop and the like) and just hit CTLR V (or paste via menu).

This is a direct quote from Skuzzy in another thread...

Thanks guys, that did it.  I'm in.

101ABN,
Alt + Print Screen takes a screenshot of the topmost window and not full screen.

Screenshots of dialog boxes are best saved as Gifs.  The color might be a bit off but the text won't lose sharpness like a jpg and the file size is much smaller.

windows key +
F : Find
E : start Explorer
R : Run
M : Minimise all
Pause : system properties

Dang, i shouldve know those two years ago.... my old PC was dieing of old age then, and i couldnt get the mouse to work properly..... i ran Win2000pro on only kb input for over three months...... teches you to remember all the shortcuts!

Oh yes, screen shots of running programs are easy.

[Print Screen] Takes shot of entire screen, saves as image to the clipboard.
[Alt-Print Screen] Save a shot of the current window.
