When I was in France last July we stayed near the Canadian Cemetary near Cauvicourt between Caen and Falaise.
During a visit there I found the grave of an RCAF pilot, T.A. Bugg. I vowed to find out more about him when I got home and was lucky enough to find out what happened to him
He was part of 438 Squadron flying Tiffies and was shot down and killed by Flak on August 12, 1944.
I thought it would be kind of nice if one of the skinners would consider doing his aircraft. The profile is one I did based on photos of 438 squadron aircraft of the time matched to the serial and aircraft letter of Bugg's aircraft on the day he went down.
Images of his grave, the info at the cemetary, a photo I found in a book on RCAF Tiffie squadrons of Bugg along with his wife and daughter and the profile I did of his bird.

I remember doing a Typhoon skin for just the exact same reason, Guppy.
An AH pilot asked me if I could do a Typhoon skin which belonged to his uncle(or maybe grandfather..). It was a long time ago, when AH didn't even have cutomizable skin selections, and all the skins had to be made from the terrain editor.. I did it, and received gratitude from him and said his uncle liked it too - that felt really good.
A little sad to say I don't have much time for skin work nowadays, and another big down factor is there's no telling when the Typhs/Temps might be redone.. I've already lost quite many skins due to the LW planes being redone, and to tell you the truth, when somebody loses their work like that, it doesn't feel too good :)
However, Kev makes excellent Typhoons and he might be interested in it. And if the Typhoon or Tempests get redone, I promise I'll try my hand doing this particular plane before anything else. Hey, I used to do US and Brit iron to, you know. ;)
For the moment, I'll download the pics here and save it to my collection.
