They are called "pilots" because they operate a "flying machine" (the thing that goes up and down).

"The knits of the sky" is an old comic depicting the stories of two French fighter pilots. Ended up being a short TV series in the 90s.

It's the new "French Top gun", has great images, and a cool strip tease on a Corsair wing.:cool: The story is ... well ... don't u need some kind of plot to make an action movie?

My Grandpa was classmates with one of the designers of the Mirage III. The one that passed the blueprints to Israel :D
I can`t remember he`s name but I can look it up if someone is interested...

OMG what a bad movie : bad actors,bad puns, bad plot, bad editing, bad ending, but really cool flight sequences, no CGI at all...

the Alphajet over the Alps was the best part.

movie = D

flight sequences = A

Strip tease by a F18 female pilot on the wings of a Corsair : A++

what do ya know,  I'm part french also, on my mother's side of the family, (French, German, American Indian) so I guess that makes ok for me too. (Father's side, English, Irish, American Indian)

and Guns, IMO - for me personnally the whole dropped gun thing gets old, It used to be funny,  but especially the older I get and after I see pictures of dead french soldiers it lost its humor for me.

Also will add that I was born in France, when my dad was stationed there, (I cant remember the base right now)

actually the other side is from catalonia so it makes up for the weaker french side which was already bolstered by being married to an italian/swiss and my grandmother being the daughter of a french/canadian married to a african/haitian woman so the french influence is minor at best. but thanks for warning one can never be too safe i suppose.  :D

I'm kinda French too.. Afterall I do live in Norway so im put in that huge "euro" basket. I also used a beret for many years, and I love wine, whine and baguettes!

What was the thread about again? oh Top Gun. That movies sucks so a French version has to be just as bad or worse.
