Title: Q&a&f
Post by: slyph on November 25, 2005, 10:57:44 PM
Hey all,

I had a couple questions about making movies for this game. Do you use the in-game recorder to make them and run fraps off that or do you have to run fraps the entire time you are playing the game? If you were to use low graphics qualities while playing the game can you up the quality in the viewer?

Film viewer then fraps.  If not you only get the inside the cockpit views ;)

I think the player uses the graphics that are currently setup in game.

What you could try before watching/recording the film is setting the grapphics and texture detail up in game, then let it rebuild the cache, then try launching the viewer. Im not sure that works, so try at your own risk ;).

You can also swich anti-aliasing on while running the viewer, that smoothes the edges a lot.
