Title: In Game Join Requests
Post by: Mr No Name on November 28, 2005, 04:20:06 AM
This popup can be handy when you need a gunner but a royal pain when youre being bombarded while in a dogfight.  I KNOW about the .showjoin 0 command... why not just make the window transparent?  If not why not resize it like the "Load Supplies" button and/or make it positionable?

This really makes sense. I cant thinnk why the join window NEEDS to be as central, big, and obnoxious as it is. The good mister gives several examples af alternatives....

I'm in.

while it's a good idea, it not worth the time needed to code it, seeing as you can just have it show up in the text box instead. but, what should be done, and IS needed, is a little message that tells you when your gunner/observer leaves the plane. it would be very handy to know that your gunner has left in some situations lol (i would know) :D

Actually, i like the idea of having a window, but make it smaller...

Ever have someone called jx4lI0O1 join you and tried to type .accept #### while flying???

I write interactive applications for my companys customers... coding changes to make it movable, transparent or to have the ability to resize it and remember the settings could be done in minutes since the basic window is already in place.
