I wish Bush would start kicking around the media the way Blair is :)

I haven't seen as much anti-war stuff here in the US as I've seen come out of Europe, personally...there are a few small groups that protest, but seems since the attacks happened at home, these folks don't get much publicity.

The Sun is a ridiculous tabloid newspaper and is hardly known for it's reporting of what it considers 'news'.
I wouldn't expect to see much anti-war US media..
CNN Chairman Walter Isaacson ordered news staff to limit reports of Afghan war casualties and use World Trade Center deaths to justify the killings.
Dan Rather pledging his allegiance on air: "Wherever Bush wants me to line up, just tell me where."
NBC, CNBC and MSNBC are all owned by GE. GE are getting $671 mil from the US govt as part of the stimuli package.
Fox news are blatantly biased, and eagerly 'profiteer' from the war.

Itīs seems (or is an fact rather) that you cant even critizise Bush latly...
Ive heard storys about reporters/journalists (spelling) loosing their jobs doing this....
Freedom of speach lol!
-
Maniac. Prove it.
-
I dont think i need to prove that the critizism of bush suddenly dissapeard, before all this happened he was made fun of all over the place...
About the reporters/journalists loosing their jobs well i have to get back to you on this one... give me the holidays and i will try to find where i heard this...
-
Well that’s a boisterous defense filled with facts there Maniac.
Of course you don't have to prove the obvious. Perhaps the criticism of Bush stopped when he handled and continues to handle a impossibly difficult situation very well showing true leadership?
Have fun finding your hearsay to back up your "facts".

You're scraping the barrel if you are taking the Sun as a serious organ of news. The only good parts of the paper are the semi-nude women on page 3, the Dear Deirdre agony aunt pages ("My wife wants a threesome with my mother") and the sports pages at the back. The rest is filler.
And BTW, Alistair Campbell is the real Prime Minister. Blair's government is perhaps the most unified in modern British history - he also has the largest collection of spindoctors the world has ever seen. Draw your own conclusions.

I have noticed that there has been a 'hands off' on the criticism of Bush.
I also see nothing wrong with it, when facing a common enemy it's wise to stop bickering amongst yourselves
