Might as well just give the Trojans the National Title now.  Texas might be good but they are no where near being in the same league as 'SC.  Just hope they make the title game a little more closer than Sooner's attempt.

Any good team with a defense would totally spank USC.

I'm praying to god that PSU will have a chance to do so.

Ack Ack

I'm wondering why you think Texas may as well phone it in.

You really think Texas can't beat USC?

Lets See

Texas is #1 Scoring
Texas is #3 Rushing
Texas out ranks USC in defense I believe
Texas has 4 running backs that ALL scored TD's today I believe
Texas has the best Tight end in the country.
Texas has a backup Tightend that is just about as good.
Texas has a VERY good Quaterback.
Texas holds the record for most blocked FG's and Punts.
2 All American Safetys
1 finalist for the Butkis award
etc etc etc.....

I don't think USC should get that trophy QUITE yet.

Thunder and Lightning.  Sooners couldn't stop them last year and no team has been able to this year.   Face it, Texas is high school league when stacked against 'SC.  But then, like those sad little Sooner fans, you'll find out in Pasadena.  BTW- The Rose Bowl is pretty much USC's personal bowl game...

Well I wouldnt say that Adrian Peterson and Jason White were quite the same as Vince Young Ramonce Taylor , Jamal Charles , Selvin Young , Billy Pittman , Limus Sweed , Kevin Thomas , H. Melton.....Just to name a few

Texas may not win against Thunder and Lightening , but I'll bet ya it isn't near a blow out.

Texas' defense is better than USC's and Oklahomas last year. Now they may not be able to contain them , but if USC can't contain Texas' offense either ,, it could be 52-51 by the end of the game.

I don't see a blow out.

I do see what could be the highest scoring rose Bowl in years and possiby the BEST BCS bowl game in many many many years.

Yeah....as bad as Texas played , and as good as the Aggies played , they still only won by 11 and put 40 on the board.;)

McGee will be a BIG time player if he continues on his mark he set in that game. He was very impressive. Very Impressive.

I am no Texas fan, but I think they are getting the short end of the stick having to play in Pasadena, it's like a home game for SC

No, but you have to hand it to Paterno; he knows how to win.

My boys got shut out even though they ranked fifth in the BCS.

Ranked number five in the nation, and no invite to one of the top four bowls.

Seems like just a few years ago they should have been in the Rose Bowl for the honor of being stomped by U Miami, but Nebraska got it instead.
