Hello everyone, im running Gentoo Linux on my machine, is there a way to run AH using Wine? Does anyone do this? how does it run? Is there a guide you can show me that'll help me use wine (ive never used it before). Im just hoping im not the only one on here trying to run it with linux, thanks a lot!

Don't think you'll find a guide to this anywhere.
I know atleast one person has goten AH to work on Linux but I can't remember whom or when it was.
Using Wine might work if you get all your graphic card settings set up right.
Have you tried it yet?

I just started to work on getting it to work, I had the game installed on my machine within 2 minutes of trying to get things set up, simply downloaded the .exe file from the HTC site and opened the .exe file using wine... that installed it right away... right now im having a problem starting the game, when i first tried to start it it came up with the screen asking for max fps and all of that, after i went through that when i try to start it now all it does it change the resolution on my desktop, something isnt quite right yet, but i did just start trying, i'll keep ya posted on how it goes. If i can get it to work I can type up a little instructional manual on how to get it to work for us linux people.

This doesnt look good at all... does anyone know if its possible to run this game using Wine in linux?

You need propery software: Cadega
It costs about 15$ but you can run lots of games.
Wine do not support DirectX - Direct3D AH uses.
Hadn't tryed but it may run on Cadega (or previous name winex)
If you sucess tell me... At this point I fly Targetware on my Ubuntu...
