Impressive running away.
Personally I'd have rolled and dove on you pretty dang fast.
Sure, you'd have probably shot me down very shortly thereafter, but against a typical La-7 driver the Bf109 was in great position.
Besides flying for 20 minutes without fighting is boring, tedious and incomprehensible in the context of a combat simulator.

I was chatting on the phone and saw him porking troops at a base on trinity (a137) which was probably 75 miles away from his nearest base. Figured one loan 109 would be easy to deal with while talking on the phone. Boy was I right.
After he passed 20k I thought it was a "learned" 109 stick who was trying to drag me up to a higher alt where he would have some advantage. Nope. After the first 10 minutes all I wanted was to see how far he would run more than actually wanting to kill him. I already knew who it was. (The beauty of having sqaud members in other countries) So finding out who it was, didnt really mater at that point.
Very comical though I must say. Maybe he thought he was a Nazi Super Spy Agent taking screen shots of our territory behind the lines?!

ROFL that reminds me of some of the JB's

lmao ! and you followed him that far.:D

Damn, I've never even taken a 109 that high, and some guy will RUN that high?! That's more than a little pathetic :noid

I had to. Like I said, i wasnt at any lose here. My loss of time wasnt a factor because I was chatting away on the phone the whole time, if he only knew, he probably could have come and killed me. Rather I gained another film for my library that will be available for download very soon. A library of which has its own section dedicated to runners like this. So you see, Vicky, it was a win/win situation for me. :)
Heck I find nowadays that some people run so much, and I have so many films from just one person, they may have their own, Yes by god, their very own section in the runner category.

Ohhhh yes, i can second that.... everyone runs from me as well.... even GVs! :furious

lol I chased a 109 at 35k in a TA152 he ended up diving and getting killed.
Oh and ya the 109 outran my TA152...
-
I think a K4 will outrun a 152. Depends on the alt.
I could have given you a film earlier today but I deleted it when reviewing. Was in a 109G2 and chasing cons at 15k. Came across a P51D and he ran like a scalded schoolgirl for almost 30 minutes straight. He didn't even have the courtesy to HO me on one of the FEW times he flew towards me (only to "extend" out again and again). Add to that he was constantly trying to set me up for a llama 262 in the area, we were flying in freaking circles at 20k for a wasted half hour. I gave up and rtb (no kill, no gas either) but that really pissed me off. I shouted on ch200 "if you don't know how to fly a p51 at 20k don't fly one!" (yes I'm pretty sure we got up to 20k a couple of times, mostly barely dipping under the 15k cloud layer).

this was nearly 3 months ago. heh
-
then let me correct myself: "I think a G10 will outrun a 152. Depends on the alt."

35K :)

Considering the dog that the AH2 Ta152 is, that surprises you?
In AH2, the Ta-152 is to the 190s what the Spit1 is to the Spitfires, well, maybe not that good.

Krusty, why would you bother with a person like thta for so long? I give up on those twits after a minute or so...

What I really hate are the people that run before you are even in icon range. Today I saw a con enter a122's radar circle and I headed for it, saw plane at about 5k (still out of icon range) and he started heading away from A122, after about 2 minutes I turned back cause I did not want to chase him, a few seconds later I see his dot on dar coming back towards A122. Turned out to be a N1K that would dive on me, then "extend" 5k before turning back to try again.

That's nothing.. I happend upon a P47N (which is a damn decent fighter, lemme tell ya!) at 10k over a field with no less than 20 other enemies (and no friendles) porking the field. He automatically takes off away from me (towards his closes base, inside the sector) when I'm only 3.5k away. I figure he's the only one at my alt so I give him a chase... Poor fool lets me get to 1k before diving like mad for the deck.... But he didn't know that a Ta152 can dive pretty well too. So I'm closing, and closing... and he must have been screaming like folks accuse Shane over country because all of a sudden he turns and tries to evade me (I get some shots on target but damned if nothing fell off him!!), and what do you know? No less than 3 of his teammates have been pulled away from porking a horde-swamped base and come in at 5k (us being on the deck). And only when he has 2 other enemy diving in on me literally inside 1k does he turn around and try to HO me (fails, I was about to blast him but a 110C got a lucky hit and ripped my wing off).
So no salute for that loser. Were I prone to, I'd have given him a " MjrTom", but that's beneath me.

ahem.. *i* don't scream for help... :furious i *do* accuse other's of doing so. :noid
just to clarify things. :aok

Doing that in a freaking N1K2? One of the best brawlers in the game? Good gods.
Can you imagine how this game would be if HiTech had put an actual death penalty in it?
Eeeeeeeek!!!!! It's a little black dot!!!! Must run away!!! It might hurt me!!!!!
I once chased a little black dot for three sectors only to find out it was a friendly running like hell from me. Dot dar was down and he didn't reply to my repeated inquiries on contry channel if there was a friendly in that area (just the two of us out there). :furious
