I just wanted to let my fellow AHers know that I've decided to hang up my "virtual wings" and retire from AH. With two young children, and other real life events I just don't have the time or interest in playing anymore.
It's been real, it's been fun, and it's been real fun!

I know what that's like.
After they are 12-14 and don't want to hang with you, come fly again.

Hey Blast, we still haven't met up yet! We'll have to sort that out in the New Year! Have a good Xmas! :)

It's a smart move to leave the game and focus on your children. The time you have to spend with them is limited in life and will slip by faster than you can believe. Next time you turn around they will have grown and moved away, and you will have plenty of time to play games on the computer then.

Wow I remember way back when I was a n00b in 01. usarmy and his flakpanzie gave me quick on the job training for my first carrier landing, He hit my poor F6s main tank on the baltic map, v10. the carrier was right offshore maybe a mile out. My F6 was dropping enough fuel to put out a forest fire, flying direct to the carrier the tank ran dry just as I caught a wire for my first AH carrier landing.
S! usarmy and goodluck with the kids.
