If you listen to the audio link.
I heard it played on the radio today on the way home and had to pull over
Police releace 911 call of girl reporting murders (http://www.wftv.com/news/5437565/detail.html#)
-
The woman who took the call deserves a medal....she was spectacular in reassuring the child, getting the information sensitively and you could tell she was holding onto the child with her voice. What a woman, I'd like to meet her. And what a brave kid! Poor thing, her life has probably changed for the worse. poor, poor kid.
Listening to the whole thing was very goulish but I'm glad I did.
and yes, I cried when I heard it.

I'm stunned that something like this happened in Florida.
-
That is one brave little girl. I hope life treats her far better in the future.

Spit out the hook, the damn thing wasn't even baited.

I listened to the first ten seconds and had to shut it off. I have a 7 year-old daughter; too close to home.

Thanks Mav...I havn't been on the boards for awhile.
Trust Funked to cheapen this...but that's Funked. Probably been on computers so long he's forgotten these people are actually human.

From what I heard on the radio. the cops that responded to the call have kinda adopted the girl who is now staying with relatives.

Good.
God bless her.

She seems very intelligent for a child her age. My condonences for her and her family.
Her "brother" is the scum of the earth.
-
to a brave little girl....
Sad stuff.

Good to see you pop back in Rav!
I didn't agree with you much but your posts were always fun to read!

How sickning that a young child had to witness such a thing.
Can you imagine how scared she will be for life.
-
Wow that little girl didnt deserve that. My best wishes to her for a better future. Also to the dispatcher for keeping her calm and safe. Very sad story.
As for her brother there well i think he needs to learn a lesson for his wrong doings...im thinking a on a "friendly" prision if u know what i mean.
However this is a sad story and i think
A moment of silence i think should be taken.

All the details, vital details...
Information on where she's at...
Something I'm sure officers greatly appreciated...
I don't think I could of done as well as she did..
Upheld her composure until the officer was right there with her..
I think I would of gone bezerk before that..

Indeed she does..
She was doing a job 911 operators here in Jacksonville couldn't even fathom doing.
Staying on the phone while directing information..

Hawk they trace the calls so when they look up ur telephone number they can find the address. They ask for it because its faster and easier than looking it up.
