I'd like to start flying Squad Ops events.  Any squads looking for a reasonably competent (though rarely sober) pilot?

Rarely sober pilot???? Hmmmm.  I think you might want to talk to Doobs or Knuckels about flying with JG44 Night Hawks. We're never sober so you might have to work on the rarely part to get rid of that.:D  We are also one of the largest squads that participate in squad ops.

Heya SkyGnome, Rogue squadron is in the process of rebuilding our FSO lineup. We're planning to be up and running in time for the next FSO which starts in early January.

No idea what size of a squad it will be, depends how much response we get. Right now we're just working on getting the minimum 4 required to play. You would be #3. :) This could work out well for both of us.

It would be nice to get at least 8 interested pilots. BTW, this is an SEA-only squad, no need to change any MA affiliations.

Sky you will have lots to choose from.  There is not a squad I would not give a thumbs up to in Squad Ops.  In fact the current squad list is about 22 if I counted right. Some are more serious and do real well most of the time. Some like to fly Axis and do so in most Squad Ops. Others have a favorite ride and will get that when they can, (some P-51 and P-47 squads). Some are large with over 20 in a frame and others are small with only 3 or 4 regulars. I have met Dux personally and he is a great guy and head of our terrain team. He is also working on keeping his squad in Squad Ops and is rebuilding things. That would be a great place to start IMHO. :)

You know, your post got me thinking. It might be a good idea for us to have a “brief” on all the squads in Squad Ops so players like you would have a place to go and look over the squads that would suit them best.

Ahem, there is one frame left (this friday) in the current FSO. Then we have a break until January.

If none of these maroons take you up you can fly with the Nightmares on friday night. We are on the allied side and have been Hurricane Mk Is so far (Allies on Bishop side). Text and VOX 165.
