We pray they make it past the first playoff game, just like in years past! ;)

why name a hockey team after a helicopter? :huh

I'm sorry Rip, but I'm just not sure how good the Seahawks really are. Alexander is a monster no doubt, but beyond him I'm not sure you guys really have that much.
And I'll say it so you don't have too... yeah, we can't stop the run grrrr.
AFC North champs tho Who Dey!
:D

I thinks the Hawks have a real chance, can they beat Indy though? Theyve already clinched. They just have to win in the postseason.
We'll see...I thought for sure the Titans would squeak in a win against them.

We're (Seahawk fans) are not sure either. That's why we have playoffs! :D

Here is my prediction: Whoever loses this game (Indy, Seattle) goes on to win the Superbowl.

I bet neither indy nor Seattle makes it to the SuperBowl.

I bet Cincinatti does not either.
Your Bungals will crap out to my Steelers, First Round. I've watched the AFC North all year. I see the Steelers every sunday, and then usually the Bungals, or Browns, or Ravens on Local CBS. Kind of funny actually how that works, now that I think about it.
But anyway.
Bottom line is. I've seen the Bungals do some amazing thing this year. The only thing I havnt seen them do is win a playoff game. (In 15 Years). The Steelers Bungals game in the 1st round will add to the fierce rivalry we hold with all division teams. But we will come out victorious.

How bout some oxygen for when the Seahawks pull their inevitable postseason choke?

Dare I say (with risk of placing both feet in my mouth with socks on) that this year is different? Well, I HOPE the outcome is different. Some folks in the area are talking that 9 letter word starting with an S and ending with an L, but some of us die-hards are just hoping for 1 fricking playoff win! I truly believe once that monkey is off our backs, truly great things can happen.
Something to ponder...We don't just have the leagues best running back, we have Matt Hasselbeck, who, like Farve, has been under the constant watch of Holmgren. He is now the NFC's highest-rated passer at 96.3, with 22 touchdowns and nine interceptions. That efficiency is often overlooked as Alexander churns out his yards and graces national magazine covers. Of those 9 INT's, only 4 have been direct INT's, the rest were tipped by either a defensive lineman or tipped by the receiver. He's not the Matt that was in Green Bay spouting "We're going to win!"

They'll have to go all the way "through our house" which isn't easy. If they had an offense, I might be worried. ;)

Yes! They looked pretty good last night! They've moved up to 28th ranked offense, right between Detroit and the Jets....(http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/images/smilies/stickpoke.gif)

Magic number is GONE>>>>Shaun Alexander just seconds ago set the NFL record for most TD's in a season. WTG SHAUN!
-
Add the 2005 NFL Rushing Title to his resume.
-
Rip,
Roll Tide and your welcome for Shaun. My wife graduated college with him and I got to meet him a few times. He is a true gentleman. As well as he did at Bama he never got cocky or forgot where he came from. Glad to see he is still doing well.
Good luck to your team in the playoffs.

Thks for the GL. Regarding your post, you might want to talk to ESPN Magazine. They have a Dec. issue with Shaun on the cover and the words "SUPER EGO". LMAO! The reason they say they label him with this is when they contacted Shaun in Nov. about a Dec. photo shoot/story, Shaun suggested a picture of his offensive linemen, and he in the front of them, with the Rushing Title trophy, the MVP Trophy, and the Lombardi Trophy in the foreground, with the caption "All I want for Christmas....". Because of his suggestion for the photoshoot, ESPN labeled him egotistical. Guess what, Shaun HAS the rushing title trophy, he WILL get the MVP, and his team has a good shot at the Lombardi Trophy.....guess ESPN is just pissed because they have to travel so far in the post season to cover one of the NFL's elite teams. :p

Add "2005 MVP" trophy to Shaun Alexanders outstanding year...
-
when are you going to ask him out?
I don't think you are his type...

Febuary 5th. Right after he holds the most important trophy of the year over his head...casual dating, no sex.
Records so far this year:
First player in NFL history to score 15+ TD's a year , in 5 consecutive years.
Single season NFL TD record (28)
NFL 2005 Rushing Title
NFL 2005 MVP
