This is what DALE is into.

If there ever was any doubt about what a 51 can do in game, this ought to settle it once and for all!

Only... The p51 isn't one of the many flight models under scrutiny at the moment.

Well, 51 was the one he got to fly.
The Flight model is more the point, though.

The PonyD is one of the best in the game.  And argueably the best non-perk.The PonyD is one of the best in the game for sure, just as it was one of the best in the war.  And arguably may be the best non-perk ride.

The point I think for the Main Arcade server is that you can fly whatever you want, unless ENY restrictions are on.

It is starting to occur to me, that since the Main Arcade is an arcade server, what difference does FM really make?  Or what difference what plane I fly?  No one cares about my score, I really don’t care if what I fly is called a 109 or a F4U, or a Spit. I’ll just fly what I want, the way I want to fly it.

And since rams and HO's a re a mainstay in the Main Arcade, I'm gonna get good at those.  Why vulch when you can just HO n ram?

You say it's a "Main Arcade" as if it actually is, which it is not. There is no Arcade or "RR" or "Relaxed realism" version of AH, it all acts the same way.

Whether the flight models for individual planes are accurate or not does not indicate whether this game is "arcade-ish" or not.

Very true :)

Note that I have reversed what you said, to make my response more coherent.

There is no Arcade or "RR" or "Relaxed realism" version of AH, it all acts the same way. [/QUOTE]

Again we agree, the FM is not changed for the Main Arcade server, and we already have agreed that the FM has nothing to do with whether or not the server is arcadish,

So far so good :)

You say it's a "Main Arcade" as if it actually is, which it is not. /QUOTE]

What IS arcadish about the Main Arcade server is the game play.

A.  No meaning to the game play, other than a land grab that encourages, indeed rewards hordes, vulching, spawn camping, dive bombing with buffs.

B. Three sides, all having the same planeset.

C. Strange maps

Hulluva lot of fun, but certainly arcadish :)

I love this game!, and I really hate this game! :huh

Kinda like having a girl-friend/mistress that is a total b$tch, but really great in the sack.

And we've all been there :(

Does their P-51 carry guns and a full load of ammo plus armor and fuel?
