Good source of profiles for inspiration. (http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/f)

Link is to the WWII fighters page, but if you know where to look and have patience, it has just about every aircraft ever produced.

Just remember profiles are someone's interpretation of a photo or two.  Always best to have the photos along with the profiles as some of those profiles can be dead wrong.

As for resources....Looks to left at shelves....looks to right at shelves....looks behind at shelves.

Best resource I have is my own WW2 aviation library built up over the last 30 years :)

And it's been available to all here.

Post by: Wrangled on December 23, 2005, 01:42:45 PM
Have only begun skinning some as a hobby in AH but have skinned in IL2 and CFS games. The link below has got a RLM color swatch set up for photoshop.

http://www.zoysgig.com/refer.htm

Choose the RLM color references and at the bottom of the page is the swatch download.

I'll be making this available to you guys within the next week:

http://wiki.gonzoville.com/

You will be able to either post links or content ... the latter preferable where not a copyright infringement as so many of these hard-to-find sites have a tendency to disappear due to the ravages of time.

I just need a few days to figure out the permission system on this thing.
