We used to have "train-bases" in AH1, where did they go? They made a great target!

Yea, miss them as well - always made a good target.

Would like to see the trains moving across the country side again as well. Was always fun to go train hunting when there wasn't much action.

Trains still go across the country side, saw one last week in the BOB04 map. Wasted 100 rounds of my 109F4's 20mm on it but it was fun! :P

From what I understand they've always been here, but map makers have to do all the work on them to get them running in any given map.

I have only seen a train chugging across the countryside once. I went and shot it up four times, just because of the novelty of it. :D

Which is why the train and convoy model needs to be redone IMO. The way I understand it, all trains and convoys run on a ten minute, fixed interval, which makes them travel at a constant speed, based on the length of the track or road.

So, If the track is laid out too short, the train would travel VERY slow so that it would take ten minutes to get from start to finish. Or, if the track is laid out too long, the train travels WAY too fast so it can still get from start to finish in the ten minutes. Same with trucks and barges.

HTC can confirm or correct me on this, I'm sure.

Bottom line is that trains and trucks need a new system.

Am I the only one that gets hit by flak from a train on a weekly basis?
