Title: U.S. Navy History
Post by: AKSWulfe on July 17, 2001, 08:49:00 PM
Lots of interesting stuff on this website: http://www.history.navy.mil/index.html (http://www.history.navy.mil/index.html)

If you dig around a bit, you can even find the story of Flight 19. If you've never heard of that, it's an interesting story.

Thanks SW  :)  I've had that link for a while.

 Here's even more.

Read this and you may be surprised at what the USN was working on or when they deployed things during the war. Germany didn't have a corner on the market with uber weapons and bright people by any means.
