I got both wings shot off in a b26 and was able to fly home
took some tricky stuff with the throttle and rudder but i made it and got a successful landing (got pics)
now as much fun as that was I dont think it would be possable, but then again I am no pilot

you could fly most planes "clipped" since in AH you have symetry (sp)....obviously your missing control surfaces but you can turn with your rudder. you'd have a much higher stall speed....I know that eagle or someone posted a jet (F-15) that lost almost all of a wing and the pilot landed the plane with just a couple of feet of wing on one side. I've landed multiple 262's where I've popped both tips....but I cant land them on one engine unless I go glider :)

I once flew a B17 two sectors and got a successful landing. It had only 2 working engines, no rudder, one elevator and the right wing tip was damaged. I just kept adjusting throttle and RPM settings to keep it straight.
This was AH1, but I think that AH flight model is quite forgiving anyway.

oh snap! Its the new Lancaster16 with clipped wings. It will out roll a 190a8! Thats HAWT.

Launch a F4F, race around the field untill you lost both wings, you will now have the fastest car of the World War II era :)
(You can actually make some jumps over hills)

LMFAO frank I don't even WANT to know how you found out about THAT trick!! lol!
