i can't find my joystick (i haven't used it a few years), and i'm hoping that i'll be able to use the arrow keys on my keyboard instead.
i suck with the mouse, and i haven't been able to find a way to map the arrow keys for pitch and roll.
can anyone help?

Mouse isn't so bad, try a litlle harder

If you decide you like this game: Go buy a joystick. Makes learning to fly a lot easier than mouse (which *can* be done but is very difficult).
Thats why Joystick is a part of the system requirements.
Joystick doesnt have to be an expensive one. I got one for about $25 US and am very happy with it.

i've got a joystick... i'm just dreading digging through my garage looking for it.
i'm not even gonna attempt to use the mouse... it'll just get me pissed off.

thats nothing like the dread you feel trying to dogfight and remember which button is throttle up and before long, which one is bail out.....find that stick!

i couldnt even possibly imagine playing without a stick, most of us have full setups, sticks, throttle, and rudder pedals... being a good / smart pilot is 1 thing, having the right equipment helps allot as well... Do like I did and start with a swisty stick and then if u like the game then invest more $ into your setup

Flying with a keyboard won't be worth the time. Just drop $25 on a cheapie stick.
