Title: mouse pointer not working
Post by: Glock on December 21, 2005, 05:33:50 PM
After playing for a very short period of time, my mouse pointer stops working properly.  When I right click, the mouse pointer doesn't move or when I'm holding down the right button and try to left click on "Tower" my guns fire.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times.

Sounds like your right mouse button is broken. Does it work correctly in Windows/other games?

Yes it works fine on everything else, and works at first in this game as well.  But after a short period of playing I have to restart game to get it to work again.

Glock, the comment might have been a little off, but he *does* have a point. After all, a joystick is listed in the System Requirements for AH2. If you decided you like AH and want to keep playing it for a while, i highly recommend you get yourself a Joystick myself. Doesnt have to be anything fancy. 4 buttons and a hatswitch, maybe even twisty rudder, is quite enough for starters. It makes a whole bunch of things a lot more easy and youll certainly find that your 'skill level' will jump a few steps up.

As for the right click not working..... I dont really have a good idea what might cause this. Do you press any keys/buttons before this happens? Maybe your hitting U and find yourself in bomber calibration mode without knowing it (the cal mode 'works' in fighters, too). Try to find out if theres something you *do* right before it stops working. Or is it after a certain time?
