Needed a short break from AH2... Spent a few hours playing Wings Over Vietnam, a pretty good boxed sim.
I added a little detail to the above image.. Leaking hydraulic fluid. Graphics are very good, nonetheless.
SAM exploded nearby. Lost an aileron, got peppered by shrapnel, port main mount stuck up, tail hook won't lower... Without that main mount there's no way you could take a barricade landing... Better a controlled ejection near the Plane Guard helo.
Fun break from prop fighters, tho the AI MiGs are less dangerous than a n00b flying with a mouse....
Now, how long should it take me to completely trash this baby?

Yea I bought it about a year ago I playd it for about three weeks and said screw it. Even on "Hard" setting the Migs are to easy to kill. The only times Iv died was from SAMs. IMO Lock On is a hundred times better.

LOMAC is the pwn in jet sims.

LOMAC & Falcon 4: AF are both really good jet sims. LOMAC's graphics are superior, but F4:AF has an awesome, dynamic campaign system and some pretty clever AI.
Gotta love starting a fight from 30 miles out with MRMs and winding up yards apart in dogfight override mode.
If you try out F4:AF & want difficulty, stay out of the block 52 falcons. They're almost too easy to keep at corner velocity with the uprated engine.
