Found proof of it's service in WW2 on another forum. I think the 262 drivers are gonna be hurting now :)

:rofl So much for that cup of coffee.

Don't you know? Just like the 109G10 of the past, which was modeled off of 109K4 stats, the spit16 we have now is modeled on Xwing stats!

Musta been a noob nomad. A pro would have shredded that uber xwing apart.

It'd be obvious to even Stevie Wonder that it's just yet another Grumman ripoff of the FW-190 design.
-
Last time I shot an X-Wing down in my Spit XVI he called me a dweeb on 200 :(

* Cleans coffee off of monitor*
heheheh nice I wonder if they used a nitrous oxide booster in that model.
-
Hell, I still think the Xwing would have a hard time against the Niki....
-
Does anybody else feel that the realistic appearance of that picture is just a bit unsettling?
:noid
Nice job! :aok

You know why he crashed on landing, he left his wings in the attack position, and why didn't the LSO wave him off?
Navy...
-
Maybe the S-foil pivot was jammed or the controls damaged.
What I'd like to know is how a VTOL craft managed to miss the deck.

You can clearly see that this X-wing was still using an R4 unit. They were quirky and had a bad habit of locking the S-foil in attack position instead of extending the landing skids. Many X-wings were lost this way until mid-'43 when the R2 units became widely available and replaced the R4s.

X-wing =Spit XVI
TIE Fighter =109(190) they blow easy and can't fight :D

Someone find the Scout Walker/ATAT panzer corps pics. Think Nilsen posted them. Too freakin funny.
