Say's it all, you could say.
I enjoyed my time flying with the Rooks, but game issues and lack of movement on them and life in general, has brought me to the conclusion that my time and money can be spent, better elsewhere.
I no longer enjoy the game and where I used to relax and unwind while playing, that is no longer the case.
This time truly I won't be back and will be pulling the plug permanently, once this is posted.
Merry Christmas to you and yours and a Happy New Year.

Anything new to report?
The BBS looks the same.

Why should someone give you a reason to come back?
The reason to play is simple.
You either want to play, or dont want to play.

Shouldn't there be a separate forum for farwells?
I'll be saying hello after New Years. Katrina spared my phone lines but the Army corps of engineers came though here one day and ripped every line out of my house with their bobcat (you'd think they'd lower the bucket).

I think I saw your final signoff today, and I understand why.
There was a bit more 'You Rooks are Tards' singing today than I've seen in awhile. Had the whiners just taken all that energy, built a mission and advertised it, they could have turned the tide. But.. Nooo... had to just sit back and bellyache.. generating a whole slew of bad vibes for all. Maybe it's a time of day thing, I dunno. Normally I don't get on until much later.. and if this sort of crud is going on every day, then I'm glad I have such restrictions.
Then you've got the guys that have questions about how to play the game and another group of twits go off replying with the same ol 'Alt -F4' or 'Go read the manuals' schtick. Nobody told the newbie how to tune the help channel and ask there. ( I was too busy either building a mission or fending off bad guys or flattening hangars )
And, unfortunately, until we either get the ability to un-tune country channel or convince the vocal twits to just chill out, we're just stuck with them. Your action is certainly one of the sure solutions.
All in all it's just a very large amount of very, very, very old and outdated sarcasm that's been around since I started 4 years ago.
Nope, not much fun at all.
Nice and quiet after curfew, though.
