He knew the track more then anyone racing.

He stayed back out of the jam until it was at a snails pace then pushed his way through..

He certaily knew how to work traffic.  But I think things got clear cuz he punted that yellow Elise.  It probably collected a couple of other cars in the process and made the cars behind him slow way down.

He wasn't crazy... just in a hurry.

Check out this video from Radical South distributor of Radical Sport racing cars.

Hot lap (http://www.radicalsouth.com/downloads/video_BarberPark.wmv)

More videos can be seen here. (http://www.radicalsouth.com/downloads_video.php)

My regards,

Not crazy, but I thing this guy is taking way more risk than he should. It paid off this time, but more than once he could have wreacked his car and a couple others in the process. He obviously knows his car/track very well, a more "concervative" driving might have allowed him to attack the guys on front 1 by 1 after a lap or two, with as much ease has passing the leader. "To win a race, you must first finish it" :)

Racecars with bumpers and fenders = better than open wheel racing.

Wow...the Mach V dash cam never looked so good.

Seriously, I'm amazed at engines and how they can hold the rpms like they do.
