Title: New Yorkers - angry about the strike?
Post by: Silat on December 28, 2005, 03:38:09 AM
Blame Goldman Sachs and bought-off politicians

Here's a question for every New Yorker trying to blame transit workers for striking - are you angry at Goldman Sachs executives and your elected leaders who sold out to them? Because here's the thing - if you are angry at the workers, then you believe the city and state governments simply can't afford to meet the workers modest demands, which we learned today was all of $20 million - a pittance. And if you believe the city and state governments are in such financial dire straits that they can't afford $20 million, then how do you feel about the city and state governments recently giving away $2 billion of your hard-earned taxpayer dollars to Goldman Sachs, one of the wealthiest, profitable investment banks on the planet?

give a capuchin monkey 3 weeks training and he could more then likely drive a bus, and not smell so bad while doing it. Bus drivers are the bottom of the rung skillwise as driving jobs go. Why should they get 80k  year?

Heh, I love the columnist contributors from you link, Silat.

Robert Scheer, probably the lefts most fact distorting reporter (http://www.spinsanity.org/columns/20011008.html) alive.

Molly Ivins, author of the new book, Who Let the Dogs In?, is the former editor of the liberal monthly The Texas Observer and the former Rocky Mountain ...

Greg Palast (http://www.gregpalast.com/), another Black Helicopter liberal hiding in sheeps clothing.

Great sources..
:rofl :rofl :rofl

If you believe the stuff they "report" on then please finish that glass of Kool Aid, thank you.
