Looks like it was from one of those annoying "Family day" cruises. I hate those things especially in the Hampton Roads area where those of us on the Navigation Detail spend most of the day working while everyone else slacks off.

Good video though..sad to know that great bird no longer flies for our fleet...It's legacy lives on in Iran though..when they can get em in the air.

vf-31 and 213 are still out on the last deployment.  Once they get back thats all she wrote.

Sad thing is, the super hornet cant do that.  I think any configuration below 10k feet she cant go supersonic.

I've seen the Superchicken (  E-Model ) break the sound barrier at sea level for a F & F bout 2 years ago.
