Shooby Taylor, one of the greatest unknown talents ever to hit the blues/jazz scene. What set Shooby apart from the rest of the scene was his ability to use his own voice and vocalizations to create the horns section. Definitely one of the last true bluesmen.

Shooby Taylor's last public performance at the Apollo 1983. (http://www.shooby.com/video/ShoobyApollo_2.5Mb.wmv)
Sadly, he fell off the map soon afterwards and nothing was heard from him until 2003 when someone came across a notice in a newspaper reporting his passing at the age of 74.
R.I.P Shooby Taylor.
