Dtis29 said that there were 70 people in the CT on Sunday.  Is this so?

Try 30 for about 45mins. Then it was aroune 15 20 for the rest of the night. You should have seen the MA tardness going on .50 auto ack doesnt work when you have 5-6 spits and hurris vulching. And so many times a single 109 comes runing back to base with 7+ allied planes fighting over him. I do have to say it was nice I didnt get pumbled by 88mms because they were killing everyone else. It was fun but would like to see it every night then the CT would really be a mini MA.

lovely, yet another jg54 bashing thread.

I logged on when there were about 25 peeps or so... And it was "okay" but the team I was on was down a few so I stayed LW, and everybody was getting gang raped by super alt-monkeying spit and hurri dweebs. Hell even a couple LW people switched sides (further tilting the balance) because they got sick of it. The few times I COULD get up it was me rushing to rescue one lone plane from 7 others (and we ended up getting several and RTB) then rather quickly after people realized this wasn't going to change the LW team left (almost as a whole) leaving us not just outnumbered but 2:1, all the while some idiot named "LanXXX" (xxx = number) was porking the map in the opposite end so that nobody would dare interrupt his manly capturing of every V-field on the lower East side, all the while screaming in caps when we asked why he was milk running, "DEFEND YOUR BASES RETARDS!" (something along those lines).

So then it was 2:1 we were being picked off before we could get any alt or speed (basically if it wasn't a vulch it was a cherry pick right off the field) and then the rest of the LW logged en masse, I along with it.

This kinda crap is why I don't fly CT more often. I used to tell myself "I'll fly the CT more!" but it's just not the same CT that it used to be. There's no chivalry, there's no (very little) honor, and there's no fun in being gang raped by folks with better speed, alt, and numbers.

No not meant to be a JG54 bashing thread. This setup seems to be one thats easy to piss off everybody. Both sides are complaining about the same things.  Most of the times I've seen the sides are close to even. Vulching............. Both sides are doing it , so making a point mentioning one side doing it is sour grapes. Alt monkeys?? Sheesh I wish I could get alt. If I get alt in a P-38 , the thing trys to come apart in a dive. If I fly a P-40, N7 won't give me the  two day head start I need to get to 15k.

Not complaining about JG54. In fact last night we got spanked by JG54, but it was a blast. I havent been in battles of that size in CT in a while.

Personally I'd turn the ack up, and the repair times down. Let the milkers do their evil work, and force people to defend areas. Turn it back into The Combat Arena , and less the Furbal Between Two Bases Arena.

JG54:aok

Ever wonder why the CT is always empty?

Read up and enjoy the reminder... far too much of the 'big fish, small pond' attitudes within the CT.

It just takes thicker skin to survive the CT compared to the MA, as far as the banter goes.

Del, every time you post here you post the same drivel.  please kind enough to answer these two questions for me. do you care what goes on in the CT?  what would you want to be different in order for us to graced by your attendance?

do you really think so wonton?  I find the MA easier to play in every aspect.  the CT is far more challenging as far as overall player skill in the game and on the text buffer.  The MA is full of lame text buffer assaults delivered by the weak minded.  you don't need thick skin, you need earmuffs to drown out the din on range and disengage 200 to prevent occular assault.  here on the other hand there are masters. occassionally, in the CT you experience cutdown virtousity.  I like the CT because "as iron sharpens iron, the skills of one man sharpen those of the other".

I guess I find that in the CT it's easier to see the insults flying. In the MA everything's moving so fast, I'm sure I've missed 20 or 30 insults headed my direction.

I find the CT more challenging in many ways, as your saying, the only way it's not is SA. You can't beat having 40 enemies swirling around you to improve your awarness.

I see your point though, I guess I just take less notice in the MA.

I absolutely agree with the relaxed SA atmosphere of the CT.  I pay the price for that my first few sorties in the MA.

You are the only one who finds yourself witty and entertaining, to the vast majority in the CT you are merely offensive.

Most nights now you'll get 10-20, which is up from what it was last summer.  Not the 25-50 we used to see before AH II, but we're working our way back up.
