doesnt matter as long as you have 3000mhz processor and 1024 megs ram. :)  my average fps in AH2 widescreen mode is just around 35 fps (1024 x 768) on my VAIO laptop (yes with

I've got a laptop with 9700 mobility (and mobile Athlon 64 3200+), 1400x1050, it's smooth enough - although I think I did drop the details a notch or two from the defaults. I'm getting from 40 to 60 FPS usually...

thats what i thought.. intel has not released any 3ghz centrino pentium M whatever cpu.

what kind of gpu does it have?

mine does noty have the centrino energy saver.  it uses pentium 4 3.06 ghz that eats a lot of energy :mad: i think my gpu is x600 (im not sure but im gonna check it when i get home)

I'm gonna get 3 HP laptops with 1,86ghz centrino, 512 ram and x600 gpu so I may install Ah and finally get to play again. :)

I have a Fujitzu 1,86ghz centrino, 2046 ram and x600, LFS/AH2/FEAR/SH3/IL2FB all work fine.

3Ghz desktop, 1Gb RAm and an ATI 9600 128mb all crammed into a laptop here.  I bought it almost 2 years ago in Jan 04.  How time flies. :)  I still play AH on it and get reasonable results.

I can't see me buying another laptop for the next five years.  Assuming this one doesn't die my next PC will be a desktop and I'll keep this laptop for out of the way places like where I am now.

Nope.. always used both mac and windows ;) Prolly get one more mac this month.

Replacing 3 dated win laptops at work with 3 new and im gonna grab one of them.
