Just a question, but why when we have both aircraft do you bring this up on a "Wishlist" forum?

A20 is faster has forward fireing MG's.
With its 500 lb bombs has better ord options for killing city, etc.
Basicly the A20 when light is like a twin engine P47.
Yes its big but if you fly it right it can not only defend itself, but it can wreck havoc.
(Pun intended)

A pair of a20's can level a city in 2 minutes flat. Cap it until the goon arrives, vulching anything silly enough to up.

TBM is big, lumbering, designed for CV ops.

Has the nice 2k bomb for killing CV's, has rockets which give it some GV usefullness. Is slow to climb, heck its  slow period. When seen by an enemy has a big "Fresh meat" neon sign hanging above it.

Its fine as long as you have friendly cap around. Lose the cap and you lose the TBM.

In conclusion, different tools for different jobs.
Like hammer & screwdriver.

well. first of all: which A20 is he talking about. cuz the so called "Boston" has only two things over the TBM: speed and durability.

the A-20 "Havoc" attack aircraft has suprisingly long range and a great gun package. it also has a 4k bombload it is fast and suprisingly meneuverable for it's size. but it is beaten out, in my book, by the mossie. which has higher altitude ability, better climb, speed, firepower and meneuverability. however! the A-20 has one quality that has kept it out of the AH scrapyard: it's durability. you can tell if an AH aircraft is tough if it consistantly looses both it's ailerons before losing it's wings. it is a very frustrating opponent to the Finnish hurricanes on FIN-RUS.

the TBM has better underside protection than the A-20 and has a bombsigt. it is great for CV based bombing missions, though people usually opt for naval fighters instead. for mid-ocean torpedo bombing, it cant be beat if it is attacking CVs without air cover. this is because it is far tougher than the B5N. however, if their are nme planes in the area, you cant go wrong with the japanese "Kate". it turns better than any plane ingame and almoast never stalls in the horizontal turn.

Of course the problem with the Kate is the only thing you have to shoot with is the spitwad launcher in the back.

dont matter, you just turn and turn and turn and turn till the enemy runs out of fuel or help arrives. this tactic even works against zeros, much to their suprise. the trick is never fly in a strait line, not for a second. if you keep changing directions they cant get you unless they dont suck, which they always do.
