Title: A big <<S>> to these Marines

400 troops from the 1st Battalion, 3rd Regiment shipped out yesterday, 8 months after coming home from Iraq.  480 more will ship out this weekend.  They lost 44 men during their last deployment, and they are heading right back into the fire.  This time in Afghanistan.  Keep them in your prayers.

Geesh that's nuts but as a frmr Marine I got to say that's the price you pay.  My brother was a Marine and in peace time did back to back deployments for 3 years strait.

None of them are complaining, they knew they were going back after a short rest to build back to strength.  There are people in Afghanistan that have been there way too long already and need to come home.  I know a couple of the guys who are shipping out.  Every one of em is good people.
