Hi All,
Anyone know if AHII can support multiple monitor set up. I know I need an updated video card but can AH software support this feature the same as microsoft flight simulator does? Does anyone have it?
Thanks!
Steve

Nope, Im running a dual monitor rig (two ATIs)
I asked for that a while ago in the wishlist.
-
Recently, I asked for the same. Currently running 2 monitors on one ATI card.
Would love to see dual monitor support here.
-
lol I'd love to have a "6" view on my second monitor at all times :P
-
I was hoping to build a 3 monitor wide-angle setup for AH untill I did a search and found out it's not supported.

Since I'm not a pc tech guy, do I understand correctly, that no matter what card and or PC setup we do on our end, it won't work till they do something on their end ?
-
Correct. The problem with multiple monitors is also the rendering overhead (it doubles). So take your worst case fps scenario and halve it, would you be happy?
-
If I get 30 fps I'm golden. I get 60+ on average so with 2 monitors I wouldn't mind at all. And I've got a middle-of-road system (P4 2.6 128MG Ge4, 512MB ram)

This may sound off the wall but, what if you had a second(or third) account and had that monitor (player) ride with your plane, and used it that way?
What would happen?
-
Well that's having 2 separate computers with 2 separate accounts and 2 separate connections.
For one, I only have 1 comp, for 2 I only can afford 1 sub, for 3 -- well I got the router but I have wires enough all over my floor, don't need another :)

airbumba thats a very clever idea.
Why would I not be shocked if HTC suddenly got a bunch of new accounts.... LOL
Mind you, Would it be considered an unfair advantage.... to have a second view from your cockpit, I think it would but then again thats just my opinion....

Unlimited access to the code and acconts just next of the server room?
Yeah, how to make a ".join" command shine it's brightest ;)

Maybe secret HTC flight studio looks similar?
(pure speculation)
