Title: Range voice when joined up in another plane
Post by: Schatzi on January 10, 2006, 09:03:29 AM
I noticed a weird thing, not sure if its really a bug - or if it lies in the working of the range channel, but the very least its a bit annoying.

When joined in someone elses plane, you can type on range and the guys around can read that, you can also see what they are typing. But you cant *hear* them talk on mic range, while *they* can hear *you*. Communication on range mic with the person whose plane youve joined works all fine both ways.

So, when riding along in another plane (to gun or just to enjoy the flight) id like to be able to hear range voice as well. Is there any way to make that possible?

Thanks, Schatzi.

PS: hmmm, maybe this should be in wishlist?

I have had same issue Schatzi.  its not when gunning, its when you are riding along (as an observer, not gunner).

For example, crowMAW took me for a spin in his flashy, uber-sweet P-51D the other day, and the range vox was all messed up as Schatzi explained.
