Title: New skins now downloading in the game

Kev's Spits are there,  MachNix's 51s, Fencer's 51 and lots of others.

Gonna be tough to choose what to fly now :)

It's funny how much the right skin can make a difference when you fly...at least for me.

MachNix's P51B skin that he'd done for the 4th FG Mustang without D-Day stripes and the swept back red to match the D model Red Dog XII, just made flying the B that much better.

The old imagination was going bigtime as I headed out with some squadies in D models.  Couldn't get to em quick enough to get one in Red Dog, but so be it.  I was in my 4th FG B model with the Malcom hood.

And it flew smooth and I wasn't half bad in it, landing three earned air to air kills in it on my first flight.

Given my choice, this is the bird I'd take in ToD to escort those buffs to Germany.  The rest can be in D models if they want :)

quick question..
why are the new skins red in the menu? do I need to have something in game settings selected to see the new skins? the red ones just load the default skin. I thought they downloaded automatically

All of them downloaded for me last night, then I logged off and went back in later and they were again unavailable.  Dunno what was going on.

raven, if it turns up in red it means its a new skin that hasn't DL'ed yet. they made it like that so you can tell how many more are coming

and yes fencer, there is a problem with the skin pack, which means all the skins are lost each time you log. HT's working on it right now and they should be fixed soon, try DL them again tonight, they should be done by then

Problem fixed.  Skins will have to come down one more time, but then it will correctly stop.

I still am have big problems with the red colored skins in  MA. Help..?

Goose, those skins packs are "old" skins. They're not the most recent release. The red ones are new ones that are not in the skins pack, and must be downloaded online. To do this you have to check the checkbox in the hangar by the fighter/attack buttons. Or wait for the skins packs to be updated.
