i just thought of this reading a thread in the general discussion, bear with me....
in the film viewer you can turn on trails. these trails stay floating in the air for a little bit.
what if there was an offline option to sit in a drone in external view, and watch the trails do say an immelman, or split s.
then another option would be to have the trails stay there, and you could try to trace them with your own plane.
try simple turns, banks, loops, whatever, make a list of BFM's, and offer to have those just hover in the air above the base.
i think that could give new players ideas about how a plane manuevers.
a great example is a loop, where i thought when i first flew that it was supposed to be a LOT tighter, like a stunt plane flipping or something (i know naive and dumb, but i didn't knwo better)
what do you think? i know it is just a rough concept, but i think it could be a great training help for new pilots.

well, it could work, but i think a more detailed and more personal tutorial should be created some time. it would mean a bit more coding but would be far more professional

yeah, i agree, maybe it could be a speerate download.
like you could DL the "training pack", so it would not be a huge addition to the game itself.
it do think it is a starting point though. HiTech knows how to fly, and he could set up the actual BFM's according to what he thought was best, and then maybe someone in the community could help with a narritive of some sort. a low bit rate, mono audio message about the manuever, or just text pop-up's like the moderators do.
it could get more detailed, liek someone could film a dive bomb run, and with the film, HT could create a training mission, with the trails, and have some king of marker of when to release the bombs,

thought of a wrinkle to it.,..
make it only in 1 plane, say the P51 (or any of the "new" planes) but make it so it is always that same plane.
the reason for the "new" plane is the control inputs. i dont knopw if the new AI coad Ht is working on shows the inputs, but that could also be a handy training tool.

I don't believe you see the stick movement in films at the present time.
At least I didn't when I made the films listed on the Home page under Downloads or Support and then 'Films'.
