Nice rifle Hawklore. I just picked up my first Mauser last Friday from Big 5. It's a Yugo 24/47. It's in pretty good shape but the wood was very dark from the comsoline. I cleaned it up using a steamer and it's looking better. Now, if it would stop raining maybe I can get to the range. Oh, and I'm amazed at how cheap 8mm ammo is.

lol Big 5 is where I got my mauser too. Was thinking about picking up a german manufactered one at the store when I got my mak, but a huge scratch down the side of the stock put me off.
