Last time I checked the Wright Flyer was not a hightech aircraft

It had no rivals during its reign.  Not one was lost due to enemy action so I'd say its record is pretty damn good.

dont forget: it can't be seen on radar, and if it is, people will mistake it for a couple birds. (my dad and his friends developed a joke plan to attack D.C. with WWI bombers. actually a very feasable idea.)

The original flyer held all the duration, speed, maximum altitude, and time to climb records for heavier than air aviation.

Seems pretty high tech to me.
