Title: How was YOUR night?

Gang raped twice (once when there were a half dozen other friendlies there only a second before, once beginning as me vs a solo bandit). HO'ed by a Spit 16 (isn't THAT a surprise) that we BOTH go down but only HE gets a kill. Three occaisons guys diving STRAIGHT IN on the guns of my PT, centered but NO PINGS!!! Only two kills coming proxy from a cruiser's 40mm position, and only other kill spoiled by gang rape #2 offing me before the guy bailed, blew up, or crashed.

So how was YOUR night in the MA? :p

Post by: Socks on January 19, 2006, 06:45:17 AM: Well.. besides missing one fighter hanger at A7 during a 24 pass, then having the power go out while turning around to finish it off around 2am, then the furnace stalling, it becoming about 45 degrees in my house, and the pipes freezing, and having absolutely no decent alcohol to top it off.... I'd say.. it was a good night.

Post by: Booz on January 19, 2006, 07:28:30 AM: I usually fly until I die every night then log, think I got 7 in a P47-D25, 5 or 6 in a D40 (two sorties, full buff formation shot down), 2 more in a P-51 flight, and 3 in a P-47N run. Died in low cap coverage to one of the damned in a tiffie on second flight of F4U-4 off carrier after getting two. Typical night :)

Post by: Panzzer on January 19, 2006, 06:00:20 PM: Today I had a pretty good night. Ohh, wait... I didn't fly in the MA at all. A couple of sorties in the Axis vs Allies and then the snapshot in the SEA. Was fun, I even managed to get some kills (if you can imagine that!?). :)

First thing I do when I recognize a night like that is relog. My first inclination is I pissed off the Crew Chief and he gave me rubber buWWets.

I should have logged, it's 3 oclock in the morning, I gotta get up & go to work in 2 hours. Why do I do this? stupid stupid stupid. :D

Post by: Krusty on January 20, 2006, 01:26:12 AM: With 50+ friendlies nearby a single lone enemy fighter kept getting past and killing EVERY DAMN GOON aroudn 24 for an hour straight, finally told them "This is my last goon run, 6 times in a row is enough" and I still got killed by a single lone enemy that got through enormous odds and singled me out.

So I moved on got a couple of folks together, flattened the VH at p14, deacked it, dropped goons and landed, but OMGWTF!??!?!?!?!?! Ack pops up for no g-damn reason and kills my goons and myself. This is mere MINUTES after it was just deacked. NO reason that shoulda happened. Said "f--- it" and logged.

Post by: nirvana on January 20, 2006, 02:00:12 AM: I worked 5-10, then drove home on ice, in a POS 96 Ford Probe with front wheel drive. Followed some guy going 25 for 6 miles before I could finally pass him. And got my paycheck. Granted they took 60 dollars out in taxes....it wasn't too bad.
