I "did", but it gets old fast...it may have changed - but the grind got way too much + the torp whoring gets to you after awhile...I had an Oakland, and a great little Akitsu-Kai

Did this all this morning... here are my impressions...

Setup an account, very easy.
Downloaded & installed, very easy.
Played the training missions, very easy.
Joined my very first game, banned immediately with no explanation.

...nice

not sure when you get your first country specific mod Poo.
I have a level 15 US BO (101 xp short of level 16) and I still can't mod it. The Fletcher class is pretty good, 5 gun mounts and 2 torp mounts...currently running 5X 5 "/51 L's and 1 quad and 1 triple torpedoes mounts , but some times I switchout the 5" 's for dual 3" 's wich is fun sometimes...chews up a lot of ammo though ;)

best kill so far was in a big battle (20+ ships on each team), I snuck up and torpedoed a distracted Dido class CL :D

The subscription is indeed monthly and not at all worth it for what is basically a game that is still beta.
