that goon looked pretty much intact after the shots..unlike AH goon which can take no dmage before crumbling..hmm

i wonder what the aircraft irrecoverably on fire is?
-
Yeah, I saw that burning plane in the sky, too. It was flamed up pretty good. Must of been a pretty good battle going on that day.

How many shots did that goon wan't to take ? well the bullets were really spread distance & time wise.
-
The right engine & canopy took a bunch of hits. Think the right motor quit at end of film
-
canopy shots in AH that look even remotely like that are instant kills. If the guys in the cockpit were not hit by bullets or shrapnel then they were extremely lucky. Goon may be a bit tougher for real than AH gives it credit for. Nice film!!:aok
-
Damn...thought someone had posted that really funny film of BBQBOB trying to strafe that ditched Gooney bird in vain and finally hitting a tree.
ack-ack

I always understood that the C47 was a pretty rugged plane, one reason why they lasted as long as they did. But in AH, couple of hits and the tail comes off or ya lose the wing.

That's a Ju52 guys...
-
You would have thought the 3rd engine and what appears to be a swastika on the tail would be a dead give away.

I know its a Ju52, I was referring to how much tougher the Ju52 appears in contrast to our AH C-47, jeeeessuus
