Nice film! :aok
... but you had a typo in the first sentence. It should be Goering's Luftwaffe (or Göring), not Georing. ;)
But yes, it looked like fun was had in the AvA arena, I'll have to check what's going on in there next saturday (and even before that). :D

A very good job there sir!:aok
-
ty. i originally had a great one, with a few minutes of historical footage, but it all went spasticated, and the file went corrupt. could reload the movie maker file either, so had to start again :(
morph is doing one too, which im sure is going to be great
-
Nice film! The photographs in the beginning of the film add a nice historic feeling.
I especially liked the scene where you were diving on the Junkers formation from high above.
-
Great job Poof!
You told an excellent 'story' there. I especially loved the way the music changed to 'dangerous' when you showed the Hurris!!
IMHO this is definitly worthy to be linked in 'films' section of HTC homepage.
>S< PoofAce!

Dear Mr. "Pooface",
As a duly appointed official representative of MGM Home Entertainment, I must insist that you immediately cease and desist in this flagrant abuse of international copyright aggreements.
As you are most likely aware, MGM has alrady released a movie called "Battle of Britain", made in 1969 and starring Michael Caine, Laurence Olivier, etc.
You may consider this your first and only warning - further showing of this film without the payment of the royalties to which we are legally entitled will result in damages being sought in an international claims court. Criminal copyright infringement is investigateble by the FBI, and may constitue a felony with a maximum penalty of five (5) years in prison.
Thank you very much for your kind attention to this matter,

i know, but i couldn't get any decent footage of LW kills. all i had was RAF fighters and german bombers :(
well, i need to change that typo anyways, and i want to add a few pics as churchill makes the closing speech, so i guess while i do that i could add some german footage, if anyone got it on film

Well if ya need it I'll see what I can film for you tonight.
what you need shot down? :)
-
need 109's and 110's shooting down spit1's and hurri's
-
Ow.. the setup has already changed, no more 110's and now there are Hurri2C's and SpitVb's as well as 109F's available from the rear fields...
I'll have to ask if any of the Finns has any fighter action filmed from saturday (and I'll have to check my own films as well). How soon would you need those clips for your new version?
-
Wtg Poo! Iwas in that intercept somewhere :) But I had my ground detail maxed from bombing earlier, and I had a slide show going on as I passed thru the formation.
-
Pooface - PAT YOURSELF ON THE BACK!
That was a GREAT video! The music, the transitions, all of it was a great watch!
NICE JOB!
-
Excellent movie.
Only suggest 1 improvement -
Final scene should be Spit doing a victory roll over the airfield :) .

Great effort! Was a pleasure watching the film. I can see Robert Shaw in the cockpit of his spitfire now !
I have the movie on DVD it's great seeing original aircraft used in film making.
-
Great film pooface! That film captures one of the finest hours in AH :) :aok
Some criticism also :) Those fade in/outs were pretty heavy, you could remove some of them, especially from the short firing clips.
-
WOW! Very nice film :aok
but
Like Have said, little bit too much those short clips in/out fades.
BTW I never seen such perfect buff formation before :O
-
Great film :aok
I loved the buff formations, nice an tight... and the music was excellent
-
was fantastic fun. we had several people shouting out on the radio, holy s***, look at those bombers!! was really great.
i will do an edit, fix the typo, cut the fading a notch, and im going to have a little spit victory roll as kev suggested :) panzzer, if you could get that german fotage to me tonight it would be great, means i can edit it all tonight
-
WOW!
Lets get this hun bastages!
Hey Hitech Creations... here is your new TV advert!
Damn fine.
-
They gotta add the he-111 eventually.
Would make a hell of a commercial if you could get enough guys together and stage a re-enactment.
Will we ever see skins in the movie viewer?
-
That was awsome pooFace!..i sent that one to my Dad(his house was bombed in Kent during BoB) :aok
-
ty sirloin. im going to redo it tonight and add a little extra, just fine tune it, so dont send it to your dad just yet. glad you liked :)

I haven't gotten around to asking the rest of the Finns if they had any clips.. But watched through 2-3 hours of my own films (from this last week in the AvA), the best parts were the bomber raids, not much fighter action in the clips I had filmed - sorry!
