Title: Pro-Life vs Pro-Choice, Battle of the Babes (pics)
Post by: indy007 on January 26, 2006, 10:56:49 AM
Found this today on Zombietime (http://www.zombietime.com). Personally, I think it's brilliant.

Quote
When all the dust has settled, there is really only one way to determine which of two competing political ideologies has emerged victorious, and that is:

Which side has the best-looking women?

This measure of political power has for decades been the only surefire way to gauge the strength of any social movement.

Now for some friendly 8 pics vs 8 pics competition.... And here we go, the Pro-Lifers!

Everyone has a bias, trying to hide it is silly.

All anyone should ask is that people be resonable about it.

Most people who carry signs are not, and should be made fun of as much as possible.

You must live a rather sad and lonely life in your mom's basement if you have to look at pictures of girls at pro-life rallies.  Ask mom for $20 bucks so you can get a hooker.

$20 for a hooker? Exactly how many VD's have you collected by now? If you don't know, get yourself tested. It really is for your own good.

Pay for quality. A clean, frequently tested working girl at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch in Reno should cost several hundred an hour. Check out Cathouse on HBO. Quality programming.

You take yourself way, way too seriously. Do you cough silk? Sounds like those panties are crammed up there pretty far. :D

I figured $20 bucks is all that your mom would give you.   Maybe if you did some chores, you might get an extra $5 bucks.

$5? Kinda cheap bonus still, are you taking inflation into account? The funny thing is, my mommy does give me money. The joys of a family business. It's alittle more than $5 though. It helps pay for the lawn, maid, & laundry services. I outsourced my chores. One day... I hope to be able to outsource my sense of humor... it needs an overhaul...  want a job? :)

ps: We don't have basements in Houston. It floods here. Too hot to go into the attic. I'd have to be a sad loner hiding in a normal bedroom.

Actually this was tested in my house this week. A roommate's friend, the same girl who told me all guns should be destroyed because they're only made to kill people... the same girl who tells us that jesus is her savior and what a good christian she is... got knocked up. Her friend, my wonderful roommate, also quick to tell us how Jesus is his savior, helped her get the abortion. Me, being the insensitive salamander that I am, was quick to point out the hypocrisy of their actions and beliefs. "Hey, guns are bad, right?" "Yes! Guns kill people!" "Honey, you've killed more than my gun has." "THAT'S NOT NICE!" "It's not supposed to be, y'all are the nice christians, I'm the immoral, godless heathen. WWJD?"

I've been getting dirty looks now for 4 days. Doesn't matter what time of the day. They're so coked up I don't think they bother sleeping anymore.

So basically, killing was very, very bad... until she was knocked up, and it would affect her schoolwork, partying, and coke habit. Then, it was justified to maintain her lifestyle.

You should find their stash and replace it with powdered bleach, baby powder, baking soda and flour.

Should burn a bit and the flour cakes it into the nose.

You have a roomate that is a cokehead??? Not only is that hardly a bright thing to do but did you ever think that it may just implicate you in the situation should they get busted?? I suppose you take strict steps to insure the drugs never get inbto your house, or room.

If they are really cokeheads and you pissed them off, how long do you think it will take for them to put some in your room then call the cops and claim YOU are the coke dealer.

You might just want to rethink your living arraingements.

Druggies are deadly liabilities.. they are weak; incompetent and should be left to their own devices. They are not worthy of anything even remotely attributable to 'friendship' as they will gladly forgo any normal interpetiation of the term to further their habits.

Friendly advice... Cut 'em lose Indy, stat.

Sometimes they forget to take the pill... or antibiotics cancel out the effect. I'd go with the implant. 1 trip to the doctor, and you're good for 6 months.

I'd hit that until dehydration killed me.

Hang & Maverick, already put in the deposit on a new apartment, just waiting on the one I want to be available. I can't stress how happy I'll be to not have guests 24x7x365. As for planting stuff in my room, not worried about that. 2 door locks (and the only keys), motion dectector software on the webcam, a hidden camera for ... uh... other things, and a password locked pistol safe. I'll go my seperate way and hopefully never see them again. Didn't even want to be in this position in the first place, but I was outvoted 2-1. My rousing speech, pie-chart, bar graph, and historical timeline didn't help. Democracy sucks when you lose :)

I just wonder how many men are in the group that makes the abortion laws?
Personally I would never have one, but I think it should be a womans choice if shes single, if shes with somone then it should be a mutual decision, not a law going either way every few years.

LOL.. the babe don't get a vote, she wasn't in the original deal. Tie goes to the leaseholder, or in the case of a threesome on the original deal, the guy holding the paper and the responsibility for the rent obligation gets two votes. I agree with the pro-lifers in one aspect: Abortion is a horrible means of birth control and should never be used for that. But if birth control fails and it's a teenager or a troubled older couple, there must be a way to stop the pregnancy. If you force everyone to deliver the child regardless of the risks to your personal health or life situation you often ruin 3 lives - or even more. But always the mother, child and the father will suffer from unplanned birth.

Imagine a 17-year old girl getting pregnant. She's a top ballet dancer with a bright future ahead.

One nights shag, one mistake and bye bye rest of the life and career. Remember that a ballet dancers career can end to just getting too large boobs.

Oh the joy! Sex is such a wonderful thing that everyone should have the right to practise it without playing russian roulette. OTOH with current HIV rates I'm amazed people in the states still risk to have unprotected sex with casual partners.

if i was pro-life, i would be a very unhappy and young daddy right now that couldnt provide finace for my child and woman.

Its your choice, better than giving birth then throwing it in the river.

first love??? you gotta be kidding :D

i was quite a young developer when it came to getting the girls to bed......er....i mean into a relationship with me......yes....thats it...., i can promise you ive come to realise love dont exist in the forms of fairy tales and lucky, lucky people. But compromise and mutal respect can make you think you're inlove long enough for you both to be trapped for life, untill divorce.....hehe

my plan is to never get rich, make her work, then divorce her and take half her watermelon :p

its not about 'true love' its about sex, and companionship.

hopefully one day my pesimistic views will be challenged by something, or someone.

"Standard"?  When dating who is now my wife, we never split up in the 1.5 years we dated. Had one arguement.  Have had 2 arguements in 15 years of marriage, and worked out our differences within the day.  Not sure that your relationship is "standard"....:rofl

we also share the belief that hurting someones feelings with the truth is more fun than being sugar coated for years untill big boom one day.

Mr Ripley, you're assuming that the only two options when someone gets pregnant is to A.) Keep it, or B.) Kill it.  Currently there are a lot of families in america that cannot physically have children, but are on rediculously long waiting lists to adopt a baby.

Then again, you are also assuming that one person's career is worth more then another's life.  It tells a lot about your values if you make that statement.

reminded me of a day about 15 years ago.

I was working in the ship yards.   very long hours, with some a-hole on the other shift who consistently got assigned to the same repairs I was doing and even more consistently screwed them up.

instead of my usual laid-back pace, I would spend 4-6 hours undoing whatever he did then trying to get 2 shifts worth of progress out of the remaining 6 or 8 hours of my day, only to come in the next day and find he'd again screwed up anything I'd left un-finished.

this went on for weeks.

so one day I'm in the bottom of this ship cussing and whining while looking at the big crack running through the lousy weld he put on my beautiful fit-up. I look down in the bilge and there, floating in the muck is a little brown glass vial with a silver spoon chained to the lid.

so I dump about 1 1/2 grams of coke out into the bilge, then using a file and a piece of soapstone, fill it back to the same level, and replace it where I found it.

wish I could have been there when he celebrated finding his stash before his Foreman had.

LS, your views are fair enough.

you state that unwanted babies could be given up for adoption.

you state that killing an embryo is murder.

aged 18 i had an aborted ebryo of 7 weeks with my girlf friend. serious matter now. deeply emotional.

there was no way we were ready to look after that child.

there is NO WAY IN HELL we would go through the horror of labour, give our baby to another family, and then live with this fact for the rest of our lives.

"sorry kid, we aint yer real parents, they dumped you on us because they made you by mistake"

or

"hey kid, im your real dad, your mum and I want you back now because we cannot live with having a child of ours on this earth and not being a part of its life"

i would rather 'murder' an ebryo of 7 weeks old, than destroy a grown human's, or even worse a developing child's life when they find out the truth.

or are you sugesting its 'OK' to lie to a child about it's preantage for its entire life?

You're confusing the terms "Bioligical Father" with the word "Dad."

You might have been the kid's biological father, but you would never have been his dad.  You assume that this kid won't love those who raise him.

I have talked to many people who have had an abortion.  Most think about it almost every day of their life.  Some regret it, some still question what they did.

Either way, it's not an easy decision.  While I might criticize someone who supports abortion, I'll never try to criticize someone who believes they had to do it.

But I'm getting off track.  I believe that a child's life is way more important then someone thinking they aren't ready for it, or that it would ruin their lives.  Even if it's not you raising the kid, the kid still deserves the chance in my eyes.

Ahhh the beauty of choice.

You can beleive either way you want.

Its all up to you and YOUR concience.

Nobody can force you to keep the embryo
And nobody can force you to get rid of it

You have the choice and its all on you and what YOUR convictions are.

my point is simple.

its not about ruining my life, or my girl's life.

its about ruining the childs life with uncertain perantage.

on a personal level, i could never live with the fact that someone else was raising my child.

I'm going to ask 3 seriously personal questions of you now. and i respect your not answering.

were you adopted, or is there a major issue in your life that has shaped these thoughts?

second question.

did you ever have an unwanted pregnancy at an age when you knew for a fact it would destroy not only the childs life, but your own through the sadness of giving up your blood?

third question.

do you think it is right that a woman, nea, a mere child should go through the agony of labour to give that child up when a termination is possible at a very early stage of creation?

i would ask you to answer these questions, and not stray from my line of thought in your answer if you wish for me to take you seriously on this matter. I have first hand experience of what an abortion can do to you emotionaly. this makes me qualified to my opinions. im just wondering if yours are through experience or blind belief.

No, I am not adopted, but yes, there was a major event that has shaped how I feel about this.

No.

You are asking if a woman should go the easier route in the short term just because she is young.  I don't believe so, but then again billions of people have given birth, even at a young age, and not regretted it on the other side.

okey fine on the first two answers, i need not press those issues.

so what about the 13 year old that gets raped and pregnant?

she should go through labour and have her tiny body ripped in two because she isnt allowed to abort?

I believe if the sex wasn't consensual, the person could choose what to do.  But only because they didn't choose to have sex.

Everytime you have sex you have to accept the consequences and risks involved in it, from std's to unwanted pregnancies.

I don't know if you've noticed, but your whole body is molecular action.

In accordance to your wishes, you mean nothing, so you now have no rights at all. In any country. Enjoy being worthless where ever you, especially to any liberal you come across.

Well duh if you go that way I'll sentence you for murdering veggies on your lunchhour - they have molecular action too.

Your problem is that you take a highly emotional approach on the subject, something I strongly believe that is coming from your religious background. Forget logic when it comes to LIFE huh?

Now tell me, do you accept artificial insemination of women who can't consieve naturally? If you do, please tell me how. Because the way you see it for each child that they help to this world they murder about 10.

You are also assuming that every natural attempt ends in success.

Plus artificial insemination isn't trying to kill people, it's trying to create life.

Or does the situation change somehow if the insemination is done accidentally?

Oh I see, so the attachment is the point where the embryo becomes a person? Ok.

So you're saying that if a woman gets an ectopic pregnancy, she should just bite it and try to deliver the attached person? :D
