I think the Ravens are going to win, but if I was a betting man, I'd put it on the Giants.

We actually get NFL here. It's sort of lots of breaks, lots of boredom and then some cool moments when huge fat dudes run into each other.

It's more beer intensive than soccer because of all the breaks and it tends to drag on a little too long for my taste. But I am learning the game now and will probably end up appreciate it more. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

Where I live (Northeast Ohio), the word Model conjures up images of a lying, backstabbing pig wearing a bad suit. (Personally, I have no problems with the guy, but don't tell anyone.)

However, IF I was the gambling type, I would put my money on them.

How many players have been caught with Hookers doing drugs and get away with it?(any Dallas fans know this one?)How many get caught drunk driving and get away with it? How many Kill their wife and wife's boyfriend and get away with it?

This is something that has been going on for a looong time and is not likely to end anytime soon.

Post by: Ripsnort on January 29, 2001, 08:42:00 AM: You've got a point, Mighty, and one of the reasons I focus my sons thoughts around history rather than sports...1 in 5 NFL players have some sort of felony conviction, or have been brought up on charges of a felony...not a good stat indeed, but in a world of greed, where owners will do anything to win, including cheating (See San Franciso)..the competition to get the best is fierce to say the least...call it a by-product of greed if you will.
